About The Lotus Bloom Project
Our organization is dedicated to mitigating cases of human trafficking by providing preventative education to youth and their communities.
We strive to create a safer, more informed youth community equipped to recognize, report, and prevent human trafficking in all forms.
Protecting Youth Though Education
Our presentations provide young individuals with the information and skills to understand, identify, and report human trafficking and create safer communities.
-
In current reports, about 40% of trafficking victims worldwide are children. At any given time, there are an estimated 27.6 million victims of trafficking. Given the extremely hidden nature of trafficking, these numbers and percentages may be higher.
-
The Lotus Bloom Project aims to bring education from youth, to youth, to encourage a greater awareness of all forms of trafficking and a deeper understanding of reporting and preventative measures.
-
Although The Lotus Bloom Project is a youth run organization that targets youth, it is also relevant to those who work closely with children.
